Our current School Development Plan has the following priorities :
Leadership & Management –
Implement the new curriculum and life without levels, ensuring rigour and challenge, and introduce a broader offer to Key Stage 4.
Quality of Teaching, Learning & Assessment –
Ensure marking is effective and further encourages feedback from pupils, embedding the new marking and feedback policy across school and ensuring that homework becomes embedded and moves pupil’s learning forward.
Personal Development, Behaviour & Welfare –
Encourage pupils to take high levels of responsibility for their own learning, attendance and safety and further develop restorative practice.
Outcomes for Pupils
Continue our drive to increase the number of pupils who make expected or better than expected progress from their starting points, with a concerted effort to further improve pupil’s reading ability, enabling them to read more independently, for enjoyment and for meaning.
