Many of our pupils learn best when we make their learning as creative as possible. We aim to enable our pupils to learn in a safe learning environment where they can experiment, explore, challenge, take risks and make mistakes. To that end our staff plan lessons that are designed to bring out the best and challenge our pupils learning, so that rapid progress can be developed. The way in which the curriculum is delivered may differ from one pupil to another, as we offer bespoke programmes where appropriate.

The whole range of subjects is taught in the middle years department with personal development skills at its core.

In upper years a range of subjects is taught and is accredited at a range of levels including GCSE, BTEC, NCFE, City and Guilds and a range of vocational work based experiences are available with accreditation. Our pupils also take part in the Mayors Award and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
