Careers Information Advice and Guidance
At Meadow Park School we offer all of our students an inclusive programme of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance. Our CEIAG programme includes one to one guidance interviews, group sessions, and guest speakers; plus targeted activities both in and outside of school. Students also have access to Careers information as part of Personal Development lessons in all key stages. Students have staff have access to Unifrog a platform which is used to help students make the best choices and submit the strongest applications.
We guide our students to develop the aspirations, confidence and determination to progress with their chosen path. Students should leave Meadow Park School as patient young adults able to make informed choices and manage change successfully.
Students will have the opportunity to meet our Careers Adviser at key decision points in their school life. At this time, they can discuss their ideas for the future, explore the range of options for after they leave school and plan their next steps. Students can expect advice and guidance that is personalised and impartial.
Pupils can request an interview by speaking directly with their form tutor, Student Support or a Senior Leader.
Our Careers Leader is Mrs Tipton (Senior Leader). To contact Mrs Tipton or Jan Morgan, Student Support Facilitator – careers, please call 0151 4778100 or email school directly.
We will monitor and measure the impact of our programme using various methods and review our programme each year to ensure the programme is meaningful and robust.
